This Sunday's music (20/06/2020)

Postby Rev Tony Newnham » 20 Jun 2020 08:45

Hi

Here's this weeks music for my church - enjoy.

First up is the hymn "Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation - all 6 verses of it. Played as usual on my Viscount Envoy 35FV

This is followed by a more recent worship song/hymn, again played on the Viscount.

To conclude, a worship song that's been around a good few years now - this one played on Korg SP-180 digital piano, plus my Viscount Cantorum V organ.

And a "bonus track". This song was mentioned by a friend on Facebook, so I dug out the music and recorded it - again mainly piano.

Enjoy

Every Blessing

Tony

Hi Tony Another Sunday morning listen and sing along. The weeks seem to go quick. The only one I can remember was the first one. I was a choir boy at St. Barnaabus church, Bournmoor Co Durham some sixty plus years ago. Mr Fennell our organ player. Brings back fond memories. My only claim to fame was being cross bearer at Lord Lambton sons christening. However enjoyed your plaing and videos All the best. Keep safe. John

Thanks John

The 3 later songs all date from the '70's or '80's, and tended until recently not to be used in more traditional churches. Glad you enjoyed them.

Every Blessing
