What a great quality recording that was! Super sound they made playing together, with some very 'unconventional' instruments. Someone was very clever writing out the 'arrangement' for all those instruments to gel together like that.
And what did I hear at the end? Yes! A "Tierce-de-Picardie" (the Major chord at the end)! Made my day!
Thanks for posting.

Have you heard of the Cambridge Buskers? Thanks DonW for pointing me in this direction. The Cambridge Buskers were a Duo of British Musicians, whose career began in the late 1970's and were subsequently called The Classic Buskers. They performed classical music humorously using instruments costumes and props.
Cambridge Buskers - Medley 1978 1. Dance of the cuckoos (Laurel & Hardy theme) 2. Hungarian Dance No. 5 (Ungarischer Tanz Nr. 5, Johannes Brahms) 3. Hora Staccato (by Grigoraș Dinicu)

Came across this one and have really enjoyed listening to it. Played on a keyboard, and I like the way he has 'built up' the song as he goes along.

Hi ALL, Here`s a guy that`s been around for ages, but just got to hears this the other day and just love the guitar and piano in the track
Seger has stated that the street he was singing about is Ann Street, just off Main Street in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he grew up. There was a pool hall there where they had girls dancing in the window and R&B bands playing on the weekends.

Remember some of those Eurovision Song Contests of the past? "Let Me Be the One" was the United Kingdom's entry in 1975, written by Paul Curtis and performed in English by the band The Shadows. At the close of voting, it had received 138 points, placing it 2nd in a field of 19. This was in the days when Eurovision voting was fair!

Yes its creeping around to that time of year again, I always thought the shadows were a good band and its surprising just how many vocal tracks they have put out, but the Eurovision Song Contest is a dead duck and should be allowed to die a long painful death, IMO

Remember Richard Clayderman? I had several of his LPs and would play them as 'background music' after a day's work. He played such beautiful piano music and I found them very relaxing. In 1976, he was invited by Olivier Toussaint, a French record producer, and his partner Paul de Senneville, to record a gentle piano ballad. De Senneville had composed this ballad as a tribute to his baby daughter, Adeline. The single took off, selling 22 million copies in 38 countries. It was called Ballade pour Adeline, and is the first track on this YouTube video. He also 'popularised' many 'classical' pieces. If you have two hours to spare, here is quite a selection of what he played.
