Nessun dorma ...

Postby torben » 27 Feb 2018 11:38

Hi friends

for years I have been struggling with this great song from the genius Puccini's opera Turandot.

Finally - after many hours rehearsal - I have come to a level where I think my abilities cannot go much further. Not perfect - but perhaps decent ...

Hi Torben. Not an easy one play and not surprised to see it has taken a while. Know the feeling even a simple tune and once you press the record button it gets worse. Some good strong sounds. Enjoyed my listen. John

Hi Torben,

Nice soft opening, and then those wonderful strings coming in. And building it up with the choir to the 'drum rolls' at the end. That was a great performance. The fun in putting a piece together like this is the thought behind how you are going to get it to sound as you want it.

Hi Torben,

That was really impressive, and a very well played and put together piece, I don't think you can have improve on what you have
achieved there at least not with an arranger keyboard

Hi Torben

Phew, could never contemplate playing something like that. Your arrangement was so detailed. Rehearsals paid off on this one. Brilliant.
