Gabriel's Oboe

"Gabriel's Oboe" is the main theme for the 1986 film The Mission. The theme was written by Italian composer Ennio Morricone. The theme has been called "unforgettable" and a "celebrated oboe melody".

This song was played by the central character (a priest) who had just climbed up the waterfall and was sitting on a rock at the top relaxing after his difficult climb. This is my version of it, played on my AR100 organ. If you listen carefully you can hear the water cascading down the waterfall.
