We had a fabulous stay here in the gardens. We took the 'train' ride around. That was fantastic, we did not realise just how big the gardens were. Then we went and took the photos. The music I chose is "In The Garden" which I though quite appropriate. I just wanted to play it better but I really had to fool the little red light. As soon as that light comes on all the keys change places!! :(
"IT NOT ME!" :( :? Have been playing this all day and this is the result.

Well worth a visit.
Regards, Den.

Den,

That was just lovely! Enjoyed the music (it's that accordion again) and the video was great. The white flowers with the 'tan' edging were particularly unusual. Never seen flowers like that before. Do you know what they're called?

Hello Hugh, the flowers with the tan edging are the ones that are dying off. I thought that they were a special special until I asked! It seems that the petals dye from the outside. Not sure of the flower but it is probably a rhododendron of sorts.

Den,

I like your 'twist' of words!
It seems that the petals dye from the outside.

The petals die from the outside? And they dye from the outside as well.

Hugh

Hi! Den.
I have just enjoyed a virtual waltz through those lovely gardens with my Doreen. You are fortunate to live near such beautiful surroundings. We have a small garden in the loal park. Tended by volunteers its a haven. A public appeal has recently raised a small fortune to upgrade the Budgie Aviary. Somebody made a small fortune on that. Thanks Ken

Hi Den. Some lovely memories captured on photographs a pleasure to watch and listen. The flowers look spectacular, and enjoyed the accompanying music, a treat. We were just discussing this morning about rejoining the National Trust as it has been difficult to visit in the past two years. Keep safe and well. John
