I have some biscuits in my tin,
I got them from an OP shop bin,
Not too thick and not too thin,
I thought that I would try one.
I would have it with my tea,
Only one that all for me
It was hard as hard could be
I think I’ll try a cream bun.
I soaked the biscuit in some gin
Thinking that would soak right in
The biscuit then sat in the tin
It should get nice and soggy.
The next one out fell on the floor
I tried to jamb it in the door
I tried to cut it with a saw
To no avail.
I checked the package as you should
To find that there’re for joining wood
You cut two slots neat as you could
And glue the bits together.
