Hello All,
The wife and I love caravanning and use our touring caravan most months, sometime only for a few days and sometime longer, last week we managed a few days on a site on the outskirts of Glastonbury.
We use the Glastonbury site as a central point and as well as Glastonbury we will travel out visiting villages, garden centres completing walks and cycle rides.
Last week we aimed to complete a cycle ride called the Strawberry Line which follows an old railway line from Cheddar to Yatton. We completed 22 miles round trip that day, lovely countryside, excellent weather and a nice coffee stop at Yatton, well worth the effort if your into cycling.
Another place we enjoy visiting is the garden centre near Highbridge then on to Brean and a walk along the beach, nice if the weathers good.
Evenings in the caravan are usually a glass or two of red wine whilst using the laptop for sourcing or rewriting a sheet music project ready to use once we return home, Club Dances at the moment.
Will try and load some photos from my next trip out.
Regards
Les
