Hymns/Songs for 6th September 2020

Hi

Here's my weekly contribution of music recorded for Wolston Baptist Church's service tomorrow.

First up a fairly modern and distinctly up-tempo worship song.

Next a hymn of faith - one that I've known for a very long time.

The communion hymn this week is Isaac Watt's classic "When I Survey the Wondrous Cross"

We close with another up-tempo number!

The bonus track (acting as a closing voluntary) is my challenge winning entry for the July challenge, so you may well have heard it before!

Hopefully, church will be reopening next week, but the recordings will continue for those who can't get there - it's going to be our Harvest Festival. An interesting (I hope) arrangement of "We Plought the Fields and Scatter" is on the list!

Every Blessing

Tony

Hi Tony. Some lively tunes. Always like Wondrous cross able to sing along. Second listen to trumpet voluntary one of my favourites. It was particularly pleasing as it is our 51st wedding anniversary today. Still in love with the same woman after all those years and if the wife finds out she’ll kill me. Looking forward to Plough the fields. All the best. John

Thanks John

Congratulations for yesterday. Sadly I won't get to celebrate 51 years with Sue as she died last year - but we did celebrate 50 years in July last year.

Back to church from next Sunday, but the recordings will continue for a while yet.

Every Blessing

Tony
