Let all mortal flesh keep silence

Postby Rev Tony Newnham » 15 Feb 2019 07:26

Something rather different today - my arrangement of "Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence" for organ & Chalmeau.

The hymn words are old, from the St James Liturgy (whatever that is!), and the tune is Picardy.

The Chaleau is a forerunner of the modern clarinet, and modern versions are still produced. The one we have (played by Sue, my wife) is by Adler and we found it in a second-hand music shop a while ago. The organ is my Nord C2D in classical mode.
