Hi Everyone Just an update. The theme was Classical and light music. It was very loose theme. There were only nine members present and five brought keyboards. Six members played a wide variety of tunes which kept us entertained. Thanks to those who continue to give their support.
GeorgeR Green, green grass, Love me tender, Whatever will be.
GeorgeW I vow to thee, Going home, Land of hope, Jerusalem
Olive The Entertainer, Whiter shade of pale, Blue Moon
JohnT Ode to Joy, Judas Macabaeus, Wiegenlied, Slumber song
BillyP Almost like being in love, Mandy, In the cool cool of the evening
Mike G Once again Michael played and sang a lovely medley of tunes, Up on the roof, Summertime, Smoke gets in your eyes, Love me tender and Great pretender.
Harry sent his apologies as he was suffering from an eye problem, and of course Bobby. We wish them well. Brian 007 sent his apologies feeding his face.
Because of the low numbers recently it was decided to cancel our Xmas party on 19/12 which is a shame.i will inform Santa. It was discussed about meeting for a meal in the new year instead. This was warmly received.
The next night is the North East keyboard club on Monday 14/12 and Clem is bringing his Tyros 2. Looking forward to the evening. John
