Musicmakers club 3/8

Good morning everyone. Just an update regarding last night. There were 13 members present 3 brought keyboards. Thanks to Olive, George and yours truly. Six of the members played and the theme was traditional English, Scottish etc. I give a flavour of the tunes played.
JohnT cockles and mussels, Peggy O Neil
George Scotland the brave, the bluebell polka
Olive. Forty shades of green, the water is wide
Harry. Moonriver, me and my shadow
Billy. Unforgettable, there goes that song again
Bobby. To beautiful to last, When Irish eyes, Feelings.
Michael played and sang. New York New York, the very thought of you , music maestro please,,love on the rocks and a few more.
It was as very enjoyable night as usual, lots to talk about.

The next night is 10/8 and Bobby has kindly offered to bring his Technics Kn 7000.
The band night will be the 17/8 and Harry will be there all being well.
The 7/9. The theme is Marches and is also the Annual general meeting.
I won't be there the next two meetings holidaying in Florida for three weeks. The thirteen pounds subs last night may come in handy. Might get me a couple of ice creams. Thanks for the donation.

Hi John
We had a good night ,lots of tunes and lots of information swapping. Amazingly we got Harry onto a Yamaha.. Have a good holiday and we expect change from the 13 Quid.
