Hi Everyone. Well we had a great night for the band night. There were four players playing two Yamaha and two Technics. Thanks to JohnT, Olive, George and our band leader Harry. A special thanks to Bobby for playing the Maracas with excellent rhythm. Thanks to our audience of Nick and Billy(golfer).
We played a large selection of tunes which we had not played before, The Dark Island, The Entertainer, If, Mandy, The Hawaiian Wedding Song, My Funny Valentine to name but a few. It lasted at least two hours.
The next night will be Monday 4th August when the theme will be Traditional Songs, Irish, Scottish, English. I will take my Kn 7000 for JonD and Bobby(I promise) Billy is bringing his Korg.So let's have a good night. Just off to play a round of golf in a competition. Wish I could play half as good as Rory.!!!.
