Musicmakers club 3/1/2022

Hi Everyone. Well our first playing session for 2022. Despite the heavy rain and the risks of Covid eight members turned up.
Thanks to Dave, GeorgeR and Les for bringing the Genos,Tyros 5, Tyros 1.
Some new tunes and old were played by Dave, GeorgeR, GeorgeW,Clem, Chris, Les and yours truly. Maureen and Chris were also in good voice. The evening lasted over two and a half hours and lots of information and social interaction was enjoyed by members.
The next evening is 6.30pm on Monday 10/1 There should be a Genos, Technics kn7000, Tyros I. Hope to see you there. All the best. Keep safe and well. John

Hi all

I am in the process of coverting MY GENOS registrations which were initially tyros 3-5 regs to tyros 5 for Clem. He is bringing in a 16 Gig Memory stick so I can transfer them to it.

If other members of the group would like to have these mainly individual song regs, that I use on my Mobilesheets setup, if they bring in a blank USB memory stick of at least 8 Gig I can transfer them on Monday 10th Jan

The Regs that use the Genos Styles and Effects will not work as they will not be forward compatable but the majority will work.

The Regs are set up to reflect the individual books(141) that I have and use on my Mobilesheets setup(15400 Songs)

Mobilesheets is a program that I have setup, to load a PDF from a Registration which is also linked via the playlist feature of the Genos.

So I can load a playlist- select a song that loads the registration and also loads the PDF.

I can also show a book in Mobilesheets select a song and it will load the registration for that song.

I can also search for a song in mobilesheets and it will load every instance of that song for me to choose which one I require.

The beauty of the system I have setup is there is very little down time between songs ( no searching paper books for that song you want)

Mobilesheets works on windows, andriod, E-Ink devices and the author is coding it for IOS (apple devices)
