Has anyone got any tips on playing the left hand accompaniment part in a Theatre Organ Style on a single keyboard with no bass pedals ?

I find typical theatre organ left hand styles difficult enough on a proper organ! Probably due to having played octave bass lines on piano too much over the years! It's something that I want to work on - you're never too old to learn new things!
