What styles have you found on your Arrangers that have a really strange name but work really well with certain songs ?

Hi James. Not a style with a strange name, but my wife suggested i play Over the rainbow as a Reggae as she had heard it on the radio. So I played it on the March challenge. Quite different but seems to work. John

James,

How do you decide what a Style is going to sound like just from it's name? With the hundreds of Styles you have available to you how do you remember which is which? No doubt when you do find one you like you can store it as a 'favourite' on your Korg? Similar to what he has done here on the PSR-SX900/700/Genos.

On Korg Arrangers if you find a style you like say for a song, you hold down the Songbook and It will be stored as a songbook entry, from there you can add to a set list.

I’ve worked through the styles on my Pa700, I’ve also installed other styles from the Pa1000, Pa4x. Even if I find a style or for that matter a sound with a strange name I will try it to see if it will work with a song.

I imagine in the case or Yamaha Arrangers, if you find a style you like you can bookmark it in a registration?

Correct me if I’m or wrong ?
