Hi Roy,

I think playing a keyboard is very different to playing the organ. You either have to just press some buttons and play, or, if you want to create something special you have to plough through so many pages and sub-pages until you find what you want. That is, if you know where what you want is located. And maybe you don't even know what you do want.

But then, who am I to talk? I don't even have a keyboard! Just the Yamaha AR80 organ. Den keeps saying I should get one (a Tyros 4 .. I think he's biased!) and I would enjoy finding my way round it.

I would not bother Hugh. I have had Three this year alone and did not get on with any of them. One i managed to delete all ten registrations and i could not get them back, had to call the dealer who talked me through it.

Sorry you had problems with your Genos. It is a great keyboard and with the recent update to version 2.1 has quite a few new features. It is like most things, you have to spend a little time getting used to it and once you do you realize how easy things are. Wish you luck with your organ.

Hello Roy, Saw a Genos advertised and answered the call. I thought it may be a scam at the price. The fellow brought it around to my house and I tried it for an hour and a half. Even at the ridiculous price it did not compare with my T4 sitting beside it. The only good thing was the search engine. Picking and poking is not my thing. Well done for the change.
Regards Den.

I have only just seen this post Roy, why on earth didn't you give me a call, I told you that if you had any issues or concerns just to give me a call, I could have sorted you out and then you would still have the wonderful Genos. I think I will give up offering to help people because they feel they don't want to bother me, if I didn't want you to call I would not have given you my number.
