My PSR 1100

Postby dentyr » 05 May 2023 15:02

My Very First Yamaha Keyboard. This is my PSR 1100. Just had it for a week and recorded these two in 1995. "Just out of Reach" and "September in the Rain." I thought it was just the bees knees. Learned a lot from that then upgraded to the PSR S900.
The Keyboards have improved lots - I have not. :(

This is my great PSR 1100.

So that is the start of my keyboard effort.
Regards, Den.

Hello there Den,
Two very nice performances I enjoyed my pleasant listen my friend well played. :D :D :D

:) :)
Hi there I have played from the age of 13 and all my music is played in a sort of dance tempo style. Have worked in nearly all the North East clubs over the years. That gave me a good grounding. Cheers.

Den says these tracks were recorded quite a while ago .. and involved the use of 'floppy disks' (remember them?). When listening to that first track (Just out of Reach) you will hear quite a bit of NOISE in the recording. Click this LINK below to see how Audacity can be used to 'reduce' NOISE in a recording.

This is the PSR 1100 when I went to the Yamaha organ convention in New Zealand. Dave Richardson was the demonstrator and he knew everything about Yamaha kbds.
