That's right Jon, they need to set their own operation up here in the UK ... 100% dedicated to Ketron products and a pro-active team to support a nationwide network of well trained retailers .... only then will Ketron start to take business from the likes of Yamaha, Korg and Roland .... as far as the products are concerned, they do, without shadow of doubt, leave everyone else just inhaling the dust, Yamaha included.

LISTEN AND BELIEVE IN THE BEST NATURAL SOUND YOU WILL HEAR FROM A KEYBOARD - PERIOD!

Image

When a keyboard no longer sounds like a keyboard ...
It's an AUDYA with the AJAMSONIC package installed.
Ideal for Studios, Churches, and Musicians worldwide, those longing to create good music have finally found the right instrument which will inspire them to do so.
The new state-of-the-art KETRON AUDYA AJAMSONIC - it's not just a workstation per say. It's a Music Station.

A Keyboard that really inspires you ... really!
It's not often one gets inspired by their musical instrument and you won't quite get it until you actually sit down and play or hear one. Just watch and/or listen to the demos (more to be added periodically) and ask yourself ... "Does my keyboard sound like this"? If not, why not? It should ... and if you are already an AUDYA owner, adding the AJAMSONIC upgrade kit (which is very easy to install) should get your instrument sounding like this ... plus more. All you have to do - is play and leave the work to us!

No more worries - Forget about un-certainties!
Imagine playing an instrument which gives you as much expression and satisfaction as playing with a Live band (utilizing Live Audio Drums, Bass and Guitar instruments)... or having a keyboard in your studio which puts the same smile on your face as having a band playing there (less tweaking and editing of sound to sound real) ... or performing in your House of Worship (Church for example) and not having to worry if the bass and guitar players, or drummer and percussionist will ever show up (… after all, they are already ‘present’ in your AUDYA), or singing and not worrying if your back-up singers will hit the right notes this time around (built in professional Vocal harmonizer backs you up with up to 5 part harmonies)? Imagine being worry-free when it comes to your music?
Well, stop imaging and start playing for it's now a reality! This keyboard does it all and in no matter what environment it is placed in, the result will always be the same ... satisfaction to all those who appreciate great music - both you and your audience!

Intelligent Audio Drums & Arranger section
Audio can now be comfortably used in sync with Beats and Midi files. AUDYA delivers Live Drums, Bass and Guitar performance which brings a new 'musical spirit' into your Beats/Styles/Accompaniment sections. Out with redundant Midi Drums – in with the new exhaustive Real Audio Drums at your fingertips!! No longer will you be asked “which Drum Set did you use for this track” or "what sound did you use for that live Guitar or Bass?", but rather “which musician recorded this track for you?” ... Unbelievable indeed!! The AJAMSONIC package adds over 1200+ new and exciting Studio and Live Audio Drums, over 100 new Workstation quality Sounds with Arps and Live Guitars. Enhancements didn't just end with the Drums, but were carried over to the Live Guitars and Bass backgrounds too. Authentic modern Pop, Ballad, Caribbean and African styles, Electric and even Rap music can now be created or performed with the proper feel of each different type of music; all perfectly synchronized with whichever beat or Midifile you choose and use!! With the Unplugged styles, you can enjoy the individual Audio Guitar performances, a perfect tool for singing, performing and composition. The sensation of playing with a Real Band backing was never this true and exciting before. Just play any chord and listen!!

    * AUDYA 4 Module

Professional Multiplayer
A new professional Player now offers dual Wave, dual MP3 and dual Midi file playback and instant stereo Hard Disk Recording. Highly developed complex algorithms now permit AUDYA to fluently manipulate Waves and Mp3 with accurate time-stretching on-the-fly for Timing (bpm) and Transposition with barely any noticeable loss of quality. The internal 80G HD (upgradeable to 120G witih the AJAMSONIC upgrade kit) can support a big repertoire of Audio and Midi Songs and settings. Over 5000 Mp3, Wave and Midifile songs from all genders come preloaded in the AJAMSONIC version of this keyboard.

New Sound Generation and SAMPLER
Following in KETRONs tradition for Best Natural Sounds, a professional high-quality Sound engine has been used. New Stereo and Multilayer instruments, including Grand Piano, El. Pianos, Acoustic & Electric Guitars, New Pads, Accordions, New Synths and some New un-compromised Brass and Sax voices are included. With the AJAMSONIC upgrade package, even more realism is experienced - thanks to the VCE-2 technology used together with even more Workstation quality sounds and Arps that may instantly be loaded from the internal 80GB Hard Drive into the 128MB RAM. A totally redesigned Sampler (44 KHz / 16bit) is included so you can even use your own sounds! Listen to the Demos and believe!

Instantly add Harmonies to your voice as you sing with VOICETRONE !
Plug in your mic into AUDYA and sing (in fact, plug in 2 mics) ... Up to 5 voices simultaneously can be heard as additional harmonies to your voice!! The AJAMSONIC package adds even more vocal effects, Mic settings and further reduces feedback.

New 120GB Solid State Disk Drive!
Out with the old (HD). In with the new (SSD!). A new 120GB Solid State Disk drive (SSD) is now available as an option with this keyboard. This offers peace of mind especially to those travelling musicians or mobile studio owners. With less impact as a result of shock, the SSD has now given the AUDYA more reliability, thanks to no physical moving parts and less access time!

Keyboard & Layout
This great keyboard workstation comes in different flavors:-
    * AUDYA which is equipped with 76 semi-weighted keys. Click here for more details on this product.
    * AUDYA 5 which is equipped with 61 semi-weighted keys. Click here for more details on this product.
    * AUDYA 4 which is the key-less Module for use with an external Midi controller

Style development taken to a whole new level. With longer measures, styles no longer sound redundant, boring or repetitive.

By adding variations and fills within variation or arrangement parts, simply play and let the AJAMSONIC unit do the rest. Impressive and authentic horn lines, New Organ voice, new Reggae LIVE DRUMS and Bass!!

Listen to how AJ demonstrates this style by playing the song "Cuitial" originally by Nasio Fontain.

The new Ajamsonic is spot on. From people I know who have this installed, it also corrects the problems with the audio styles glitching that have been present for quite a while. Even with the latest OS system in the Audya, it was still very buggy resulting in mine going back for a refund after a few days of putting up with very bad glitches.
I think the main reason was down to the slow hard drive that Ketron put in their machines when it first came out. Once the audio loop reaches the end, the time it takes for it to start again with some styles seemed to be the fault.
Although this Ajamsonic gives current Ketron users a boost with new sounds, styles and possibly a more stable system, personally I think it has come 4 years too late.
The Audya should have been more stable when it was first released and at its current retail price (they still sell for well over £3000, 2nd hand you are looking £2000+) with the T5 almost here, Roland with the BK9 and Korg arrangers out there, Ketron is playing catchup once again.
