The sound of silence

The sound of silence

Postby JohnT » 08 Jul 2018 20:25

Hi Everyone Thought I would give this one an air. Got carried away and played it three times. The song was written by Paul Simon and duo with Art Garfunkel. The song was originally titled The sound of silence. You may wish it had been silent when I played it. Played on the Tyros 5 with an 8 beat. Hope you enjoy here goes. John

Hi John,

That was very good, choice for the challenge, some real nice appropriate voices you choose and liked the way you varied them
had the LP many years ago and this is one of the best numbers from it,

All the best, Brian007 :D :D

John. I always feel this melody has a lot of drama built into it. You brought out all the dramatic nuances beautifully. .. Fred

John,

If that's the sound of silence, then silence is a wonderful sound! Very nice authentic sounding 'guitar' followed by that piano with a hint of strings in the background. Then some very pleasant strings. This must be one of the best pieces I have heard you play!
