Peter. What a truly beautiful composition. Made me think of wide vistas and extensive landscapes. The sort of music that would do well as background for a film. Also your choice of photographs was excellent and really suitable to accompany the melody. .. Fred

Hi Peter,

A very nice easy to listen to piece you have composed, it flowed along nicely and held my interest right to the end

All the best, Brian007 :D :D

Hi Pete,

I always end up the same when I try to compose something of my own .. something that is neither here nor there as I never know what to play. Brian(007)'s idea was to start with a series of chords and create a melody round them. How did you come to do this one? I suppose it's like the chicken or the egg. Which came first, the chords or the melody?

Anyway, this composition of yours is inspirational. The pictures in your video really do add to the 'mood' of the music. Well done!

Hugh

Hi Hugh for me it is normally melody then chords, it takes approx., 30 minuets from start to finished result, I will add a steady flow of Own Composition including some not on youtube yet. have a good day. Pete.

Hi Fred, Brian 007, John T and Hugh AR I find composing very easy, this was one of those songs composed in under 10 mins, melody first and then chords, I hope you all enjoyed it - Pete.

Hi Pete,

Interesting in that you compose your pieces with the melody first and then the chords , which is totally the opposite
way I do, I go for a chord progression first and then choose a style and work the melody out last ,
