Rosie's Song

Postby Brian007 » 30 Aug 2021 18:57

Hi ALL,

Unfortunately our 8 year old Lurcher dog called Rosie died last Sunday afternoon, and as you can imagine it has made both me and the wife very sad , so I thought I would try and create a short piece of music as a celebration of her life.

This was created using just the Ipads built in voices and my old 25 note midi keyboard all the tracks were created by me,

HI Brian and Sandra A catchy tune. well put together. Knowing Rosie I am sure she would have enjoyed listening to it around Waldridge. John

Brian,

So sorry to hear about Rosie. She would have been a constant companion and part of your family, and I know how much you'll miss her. We have had dogs ever since we were married (53 years) and it is never easy when you lose one.

Your music is great. Nice changes in the rhythm of the backing and that gives each part of the song a different feel to it. You must be pleased with that.

Hi Hugh,

Yes its never easy losing a pet because as you say they become a member of the family and do leave a great big hole to be filled in your life,

Yes the music its vey different from my normal stuff but change is not always such a bad thing and it does represent a new challenge in how I can create music or indeed the only way I can create music at the moment,

Anyway thanks a lot for the kind words, All the Best, Brian007
