Hi Roy,

Seems to me that you have an advantage over the rest of us when you 'sing' your songs. It means you don't actually have to play the 'melody' on the keyboard and can improvise your accompaniment to go along with the song you are singing. That piano accompaniment is just perfect for this song. The work of a true musician.

HI HUGH, THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENTS,THERE ARE 2 REASONS FOR MY NOT PLAYING OR RARELY PLAYING THE MELODY, IN TODAY'S SO CALLED MUSIC THE VOCALIST IS NOT SINGING AND BEING BACKED BY MUSICIANS THEY ARE COMPETING WITH THE MUSICIANS, I.E "I CAN SING/ PLAY LOUDER THAN YOU" LOOSING THE CLARITY OF THE SONG, BUT THERE THAT IS THE MODERN IDIOM , OR AS I LIKE TO CALL IT THE MODERN IDIOT, MY SECOND REASON FOR MY LACK OF BACKGROUND MELODY IS I'M LAZY! A nice vocal and backing for that number, you have a good voice so if your happy singing it why not, do it,
I myself am a pure instrumentalist, I can/could sing a little but choose not to and don`t even have a microphone in the house.
