Brian. I agree. But you would have to be pretty technically minded to be able to put something like this together! Hugh

Hi Hugh,
The trick is to start off with a drum beat , which you loop ( just repeats itself ) next add a bass line and work forward from there, Not as easy as choosing a style but a lot more flexible and unfortunately time cosuming
But I hope to put together at least one track done completely on the Ipad this summer when I am at the caravan , just my ipad and a midi keyboard, certainly a challenge

Brian. Will be interested to hear that. At least you haven't got to carry a heavy keyboard, and the nights will no longer be dark. And you should have loads of time on your hands! Hugh

Hi Hugh,
Well that was the think behind the midi keyboard, as they are a lot smaller and lighter, and the Ipad is small and compact to so I deal to while away the summer months when I am down there

Hi Hugh,
This is what's going to be my starting point, for my creations on the Ipad, bit like styles on a keyboard pick and choose what you want here a couple of short videos that show the capabilities of LIVE LOOPS on the Ipad. I dont think its anymore technical than using a Tyros etc. you just need to have an Idea of what you want and go for it
