Hi and a happy new year to all.

This AM watched the New Year concert from Vienna. Brilliant. So prompted me to submit a classical piece for a change. Berceuse from Jocelyn by Benjamin Godard. Ken S.

Hi Ken. Not one I can recall. Enjoyed it all the same. Managed to watch the last half an hour of the concert which was excellent. John

Hi Ken,

You do get a nice sound out of that organ. Like the footwork. Hearing these individual notes being played is paramount for classical music. You can't get this on a keyboard.

This preview video shows you the program for the Concert ..

2020 Vienna New Year's Concert Programme - Wiener Philharmoniker

.. and if you want to listen to the whole concert then click on the below. The total playing time is 2½ hrs, and the concert starts after 19 mins .. so maybe skip over the first bit.
