Again, really impressed with this DEMO. Whatever keyboard you have, it's not just a case of pressing one button, putting the music up in front of you and playing it. if you are going to do that you may as well play a piano. The essence of a sophisticated keyboard like this is to have an idea in your head about how you want the piece to sound and bring some changes into your music. The 'out of the box' set-ups that have been put into those Registration Memories (there are 10 of them available to use .. I have 12 on my AR 80, and there are 16 on the AR 100) is a good place to start. And then there are loads of other features you can use to make the music your own.

Sounds to me like a whole load of fun!

Hi All,

I think this keyboard is still very much in its infancy, and hopefully over time users will get more accustomed to it
and start and use it to its full potential otherwise it a lot of money for a keyboard .

Who remembers the cost of the KN3000 when it first came out?

Hi ,

I cant remember the cost as I wasn't into keyboards when they were first about, but from what I have seen
they still command a good price secondhand, and the Genos may be a great keyboard but for me it's simply too expensive
for what I do with keyboards and am likely to do I just can't justify the cost, not slagging it off in any way and good luck to
all those that have and will buy them.

Brian,

I would expect to see some spectacular performances with this keyboard from those who can suss out all the things it can do .. and bring these things into their music. As I said, there is no point having one and then just pressing a button and playing it. Maybe we shall get something on YouTube, and I don't mean a Genos with Tyros 5 set-ups being played in a retirement home. And I don't mean a DEMO where somebody selling a Genos has played a few bars to illustrate one of the features of the Genos. I mean a performance that has been done specifically to impress musicians.

If any of you come across something along these lines please post it in the Music Videos Board:
