Hi Everyone Well the theme was tunes from Films and Shows. There were 13 members and 5 brought keyboards. Ten members played a varied selection of tunes with quite varied styles, sounds and arrangements. The evening lasted for over two an a half hours. I give a brief list of tunes played.
Olive I don't know how to love him,Diamonds are a girls best friend, I know him so well
GeorgeW Bring him home, Lord of the dance
Harry Under the bridges of Paris.Fly me to the moon
Billy You only live twice,Eye of the tiger, Charade
Clem People will say we're in love, Sound of music
John People will say, No matter what
Bobby Just in time, Do re me, All of me, Somewhere my love
Chris What kind of fool, Falling in love again
GeorgeR No matter what, Whatever will be
Michael played and sang Unforgettable, Moon river, Always on my mind, Are you lone some to-night, There goes my everything, I'll be seeing you.
Thanks to all who attended and those who brought keyboards and played. Our audience always gives us support and encouragement. Last nights performances seemed to be very well played with only a minimal amount of dampness. I really enjoyed the night.
The next night is Monday 10/10. I will bring the Tyros 4 unless any one has any suggestions. Hope to see you there. Off to play golf. John
