Musicmakers club 5/10

Postby JohnT » 06 Oct 2015 09:12

Hi keyboard players. Well what an excellent night we had last night. There were 13 members present, 4 brought keyboards, 10 of the members played. The main theme was shows and film tunes.
George. Eye level, Bring him home.
John. All I ask of you and Music of the night
Harry. Cabernet and On the street where you live
Kenneth. If you were the only girl and I can't give you anything but love.
Billy. The colour of the wind and Band of brothers
Olive. Consider yourself. And Diamonds are a girls best friend
Clem. A certain smile and three coins in a fountain
Bobby. Love is in the air, and Is this the way to Amarillo.
JonD. Ramona, happy talk, People will say we're in love.
Michael. Played and sang. Some enchanted evening, Simple melody, The way we were, Your just in love.
Some really excellent playing by all members which sounds and styles to match. Jon played some of my music I am sure there weren't that many dots on it when I played it. He seemed to play more notes than I did.
The next night is Monday 12/10. I will bring my Tyros 4 Hope to see you there. John

Hi all
I had a really good night. A good variety of songs ,very well played. I'm sure the standard is rising, perhaps just wishful thinking.
