Musicmakers club 4/5/2015

Postby JohnT » 05 May 2015 07:53

Good morning everyone. Well it is raining heavy at Chester-le-Steet this morning. No golf. Well it was a good turn out last night considering it was a bank holiday. Sixteen members attended with five bringing keyboards. Nine of the members played. I give a few of the tunes played for our Country and Western night.
Olive. I can't help it and I fall to pieces
Harry. Crystal chandeliers and I can't stop loving you
George. Ghost riders in the sky and welcome to my world
Bobby. Stand by your man
JonD. Alright ok you win
Billy(golfer) Jolene and don't it make my brown eyes blue.
Jeff. Fine time to leave me Lucille and Rhinestone cowboy.
Michael played and sang a number of songs which included You are my sunshine, South of the border nod On the road again.
JohnT One day at a time and deep in the heart of Texas.
It was an excellent night and lots of different tunes, styles, sounds and arrangements. So a big thanks to all
The next night is Monday 11th May. And I will take my T4.
This part of the sight is not just for members of the North East clubs. If you have any comments or suggestions please feel free to give them. All the best.See you on Monday. John

Hi all
Yes a good night with a good turnout. I was very impressed with Michaels performance,he seem to get better with age. We must all be improving,as I thought we all sounded pretty good.

Seems to me you had a good night. Just a pity we can't hear them. We are still waiting to see that film clip from months ago. Cheers, Ray.

Hi Ray. I was talking about it on Monday. Brian sent it to Mike but the quality may not have been good. Will have to have a rethink. Some members do post but others have no computers. Thanks for taking an interest. All the best John
