Two very appropriate songs tom listen to this morning. It was nice to have such a full sounding entry from Jon and a nice surprise to find that Brian had made time to record something. Thank you gentlemen.
I have a busy day today but managed to record this last night between TV programmes. A Hal David and Burt Bacherach song "This Guy's In Love With You."

Hi John and Brian. are you Lonesome Tonight was most enjoyable with good sounds and it all fitted together well. Words is a lovely tune and you certainly did it justice Brian. Particularly enjoyed the organ section. Both excellent contributions.

Thanks to all who have commented on my efforts.

If you want emotion you need to go Italian so here is "Cuando Calienta El Sol."

I am sure that John will know this one but not so sure about Brian. Written by Henri Mancini what could be more romantic than "Dear Heart" with strings and trumpet.

Morning All,

This next one from me, is romantic and a ballad but is certainly not slushy, I think Phil Collins must have slip onto the drums also, so here we go at little history first.

"Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow", is a song written by Gerry Goffin & Carole King. It was originally recorded in 1960 by The Shirelles, who took their single to No 1
on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song is also notable for being the first song by an all-girl group to reach No. 1 in the United States. It has since been recorded by
many artists over the years, including a 1971 cover version by co-writer Carole King.

Hi John, Well that took me by surprise as it was not the song I was expecting. A lovely waltz and well played made for a pleasant start to the day.

Hi Brian, I see what you mean about Phil Collins! A tune I remember well and very well played and arranged.

This is the full version of a song which you often only get the chorus of. The intro lasts about 45 seconds and leads you nicely into "Dream a Little Dream of Me" written by Fabian Andre, Gus Kahn and Wilbur Schwandt in 1931.
Hope you enjoy it.

Another waltz but this time by Rodgers and Hart from 1938. I have slowed it down a little as I wanted to make it a "smooch" suitable for the last dance. It is "Falling in Love With Love."

Hi Keith,

To very good post, the first one "Dream a Little Dream of Me" you right from the intro I would not have recognized the tune at all,
but a well played and put together piece. "Falling in Love With Love." is not one I am too familiar with, but you made a good job of it
with a nice steady watz style and some good voices.

Hi Brian D.

That was a very nice melody you used with some real good voices and I did enjoy listening to it on this fine sunday morning,

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Keith,

Firstly I wish I had thought of doing How High the moon, as you played it a lot slower that the original Les paul version it made a very plesant change
and the Hammond sound of course just put the icing on the cake for me, a real pleasant listen

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My humble offering this morning is another one from the Beatles and is called Yesterday https://app.box.com/s/3h2fzj27lknlevjegtsrjk1bvttefi51

A quick one before lunch. One of the tunes from somewhere in the memory by Philip Springer and words by Carolyn Leigh. I mention her because of the lovely line about "sudden explosions when two tingles intermingle." A teeny bit of dampness but I hope that you enjoy "How Little We Know."

Hi Brian Enjoyed Yesterday today. Nice style and sounds. John

Hi Keith. Liked How high with the slower style. We play it on band night and I think a little fast. Can't recall your next one but some nice sounds. Enjoyed it. John

Don't think I will get one done today. Been busy at allotment this morning. Then hoping for three points this afternoon with Sunderland. Then it's the masters from 6.30 Busy day. John

Hi Keith,

Yesterday the style was just one that was on the Keyboard not dedicated at all, but having said that Yamaha do maKe exceedingly good styles like Mister Kipling.

I have never heard your post "How Little We Know" before so never noticed any dampness, some very interesting voices you used in it.

I found this one in my book of standards and got a bit carried away and discovered that I played for about eight minutes. When I hit the "ending" button I was a bit surprised by what I got which says something about lack of preparation. Anyway I have cut it in half so that you only have to put up with about four minutes of gorgeous hammondy organ which I am sure will be to Brian's taste. Music by Fred Ahlert from 1931 it is " I Don't Know Why (I Just Do)."
