This one is all about Bobby or to be precise Bobby`s Girl.

This song lends its self so well to multi-tracking it was a shame not to multi-track it
so here we are my version of Bobby`s Girl https://app.box.com/s/49gnnj1fi199epjg994pcehb261n2mrv

And here`s a short video I did also :D :D

Hi Brian Thanks for your comments. I see you were quick to change your spelling error, but it looked OK. Enjoyed the tune ages since I heard it. Good guitar and multi tracking. John

Hi Ken you can't beat a Sunday hymn. Had me singing along. Liked crimmond thought of playing this one, but find it difficult for styles on the tyros 4. Enjoyed my listen. John

Hi John,
Catching up on my comments,
Obla Dee, a very original style, well played, Remember "Marmalade" had a hit with it.

Ken, a good version of Stand By Your Man, that's rich coming from five times wed Tammy Wynette.

Brian, I remember Bobby's Girl well, well played.

Ken, I am not too familiar with that hymn but nicely played.

Here is Danny Boy yet again, I know I have posted this arrangement before but It is a fresh take and I've added a bit of woodwind to the second chorus.

Hi Brian D .Liked your version of Danny Boy and good to see your video. You are a very accomplished player on the Lowrey.
Thanks guys for your variuos comments and here is " I Love You Dearly " I have attempted to set it in the voices and styles as played in the Victorian era from where it originated. Ken

Hi folks. I have been absent for the last few days with a dose of the flu but have managed to listen to your efforts.

I have just managed to record "Go Down Moses" which I have recorded previously but this time a slightly different tune and a tuba seemed appropriate.

You can`t go far wrong with a good old Cliff Richards number, and how true the lyrics are in his case.
you used some nice voices and a good style to match the voices. Brian007 :D :D

Hi John and Ken, It was nice to hear Bachelor Boy - Cliff's material does not get enough playing by us amateurs. As for Ken and the page three girls - you conjure up a dreadful image.

I am sure that you will all remember the theme music from The Onedin Line. The music is "Spartacus" from Khachaturian. Spartacus was the leader of the slave uprising against the Romans known as the Third Servile War.

Hi Ken, A lovely tune and very well played and arranged.

I recorded this one this morning and then could not get onto this site because of some BT nonsense about DNS numbers. It has taken ages to remove their Internet security. I was getting "Nowhere Man."

Thanks to you all for your kind comments though I am a bit doubtful about Ken describing my Bohm as a "plastic box." Of all the organs I have owned the Bohm is the most solidly constructed with the most minimal use of plastic. My next recording is "The Fool On The Hill" and from the words of the song is clearly a male. Anyway you may remember that in recent weeks I have recorded a few Beatles psychedelic tracks and this is in the same vein - perhaps more so towards the end. It will certainly sound best if you listen to it with headphones or at the very least well positioned hifi speakers. Older listeners, like John, might be best advised to sit down to listen!

I hope that you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed recording - no multitracking and only one registration used Brian.

Hi Ken,

"I Will Always Love You" was a very good performance well played and arranged

"It Had To Be You" was low on the audio for me to listen to properly buy I enjoyed what I could hear.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Keith,

Nowhere Man and Fool on the Hill
You cant go far wrong with any Beatles numbers, I enjoyed listening to both of them.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi John T.

"Tom Dooley" some good voices and suitable style all made for a good listen

My last contribution to the MALE theme is a tune from The Mission entitled Gabriel's Oboe.
