Another 19thC song from North America. This one "Over The River And Through The Woods" tells of a trip to grandfather's house riding in a horse drawn sleigh.

Hi Keith,

An interesting blues style you used for accompaniment of that tune, the tune has a catchy enough melody
and you played it well with some good voicing. Brian007 :D

Hi Kens, we really do go from one extreme to another. Nice to hear The Trout and a bit of Irish folk music.

Hi Kens, On wings of song was excellent. It is wonderful the way you find a connection to the theme but leads to great diversity.

Thanks to all who have listened to my efforts and an even bigger thanks to those who have commented.

For my last offering on this theme I give you "The Song Of The Volga Boatmen." I remember Paul Robeson singing this and also the Red Army Choir. Apart from the tune my version has little to do with either but I hope that you enjoy it.

Hi Keith,

I have heard that before but never knew what it was called, anyway some interesting voices you used
which were very appropriate for the tune. Well played. Brian007 :D
