Hi All.

Here`s one from me which I have re-recorded and taken out of its normal 3/4 time and put it into a 4/4 time country style, so here we go for "A Taste of Honey"

Hi Brian, Well played and well arranged but I think that a jazz waltz adds a bit more mystery to the tune. Have you done it as a jazz waltz?

Hi Kens, certainly a weightier member of the popular classics but well played and enjoyable. You have just made me realise that I have not tried the harpsichordy instruments on this organ so when I feel a bit better will see what I can do.

Hi Brian D.

A really inspired version version of that christmas carol, with a good strong organ voice.

A short medley found down the back of the old toy cupboard? These two tunes were side by side under the "A's" in a new/old book from Ebay - "A Hunting We Will Go and A Tisket A Tasket."

Hi Keith,

You certainly have dug those up from somewhere ? I can remember "A Hunting we will go" but not the other one.
you made a good job of them and a nice organ sound too.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Ken,

That was a truly nice version of that song, which I think is from Phantom of the Opera if I am not mistaken ?
you played it perfectly and was a pleasure to listen to.

Brian007 :D

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As regards to Christmas Carols and Songs If we could all hold of posting them just yet as there will be a Christmas Special Challenge coming just before Christmas
which will cover the 12 days to Christmas so keep your powder dry until then

Hi Keith,
A hunting was a nice medley, well played. :D :D

Hi Ken,
Some smashing sounds there, enjoyed it. :D :D

Here's one by Mozart. I was using piano music and did not adapt it for bass pedals. I have a really bad cold and it took me all of my time just to get through it.
Anyway, I think it sounds OK without pedals.

That sounded perfect to me without the bass pedals, it made for a very relaxing and pleasurable tune to listen to.

I normally play music straight on to Cakewalk Music Creator 6 and then export it to App Box.
Tonight I had a go at doing some editing, I cut the bass a little, added a bit of reverb and transposed this old recording down a full tone.
It wasn't much of a recording to start with, here is the result, " Adios Muchachos "

As usual we are getting a wide variety of music and of very good quality. Ken continues to provided us with lovely examples of the more serious genre and I particularly enjoyed the Ave Verum. Brian delving into the technological side brought Adios Muchachos back from the musical graveyard, if he is to be believed, and provided a nice light and lively tune. Anyway I think that we have broken our record for posts already but I think that I will have a look for something folky to keep things going.

Hi Kens, Autumn Leaves is not accessible.
Hi Brian, simply could not believe that the original was that bad. You tweakings have improved it but as they say "You can't make a silk purse out of a pig's ear" and the original was certainly no pigs ear.

As promised my next offering is a folk song. Several times I camped on the shores of the loch just north of Connel. Most nights a fellow camper would don the full national dress and stand on the shore playing his bagpipes. The sound was wonderful as it carried across the water and back from the mountains. Inspired by this I have orchestrated "An Eriskay Love Lilt" to include the bagpipes and the sound of the sea. I hope that you enjoy it.
