Roland is back! Roland BK-9 Launch April 2013

Postby Mike Bracchi » 26 Mar 2013 11:29

Roland is back!

Large keys, large screen, draw bars with an organ sound, CCs, buttons, could let us think of a new workstation, but we'll have to wait until April and the Musikmesse to discover this new instrument.

Hi Mike

Yes, I saw it yesterday - It will be interesting to see what they are taking about.

I would think they mean back into the Top of the Range Arranger Market.

The suspense is killing me. I guess we'll have to wait until April. I'm kidding about the suspense part. :)

Back with a new arranger, dual screens (quite small), sounds from the Jupiter 50, styles similar to those in the BK7m. 76 notes, BK9 more than likely.

Roland is back .... Part 2

This new teaser shows more details about the features available on the keyboard. It will host SuperNATURAL and General MIDI2 sounds, USB memory, draw-bars for organ simulations, not one but two screens, a looper and more.

Roland will unveil this new instrument next week.

I have enough problems with one screen. lol That actually seems like it was an after thought. I'm sure they think they had a good reason. Will stay tuned to this station for more information.
