2015 OKMF Christmas Video

Wotcha folks, I would very much like to make an OKMF Christmas video this year to wish our visitors/guests a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year ... I envisage a 30 minute video featuring around 10 x 3 minute mp3's performed by playing members ... to start off with perhaps we should limit to one ...

Re: CAROLYN RIDDICK

Not one I can help on I'm afraid ... I don't really have any interest in 'theatre organs' and consequently, other than hearing of Carolyn Riddick, I know nothing about her or her career. A great many theatre organists at some point in their career 'crossover' into the world of electronic organs even...

Re: Roland introduces the E-A7 Expandable Arranger

The Roland E-A7 is an arranger keyboard with a massive amount of features combined with a nice simple layout. The vast array of lights, buttons and knobs may seem a little worrying at first. But funnily enough it actually makes it easier. Instead of looking through hundreds of menus to find the feat...

Hi Brian, You won't go wrong by having the Oberheim, their products are very good indeed .... an American company with it's manufacturing links with the Galantis (Viscount/GEM etc etc). I loved the way 'Farlowe' vanishes behind the amplifiers half way through ... probably for sit down a shot of 'glycerol' and a few puffs on a 'reliever inhaler'

Sounds like they still have what it takes though .... thanks for posting Brian

Re: The Yamaha PSR-S970

Hi Brian,

The MRP is £1450 but most dealers seem to be selling them around the 1300 quid mark ... given it's a Yamaha with T5 technology, that seems to be great value for money .... for once
