Re: For Sale - A superb electronic theatre organ installatio

Hi Mike

I'm afraid it would take a lottery win to build the extension needed to house this. What a lovely sound, could listen all night.

Re: Tyros 5 UK Demo Tour

Thanks for the info Bill.

I won't be making a 150 mile round trip to see something I can't afford. I only have to travel from the living room to the kitchen to see the wife and I can't afford her either!

Re: Where Is Everybody?

Hi Mike I haven't posted for ages!!! I pop on the site for a quick look now and then but I haven't even seen the keyboard for a month. Too busy at work, students are all back at college now but I haven't stopped all Summer. Will never afford the Tyros replacement until I retire. Bet my fingers will ...

Re: PA600 unboxed at last!

Hi Mike Good to see you up and about. Good luck with the new keyboard. Would it be too synical to suggest that an eventual system upgrade would fill these empty pages with factory styles at a never to be missed bargain price especially for you!!! I hope not. I'm sure there must be extra styl...

Re: Keyboard Voices

Hi Colin I can't comment on your present set up but I'll tell you about my experience with Technics and Yamaha if I may. A number of years ago I traded a Yamaha for the Technics 5000. I found it completely different from the Yamaha keyboards. The keyboard itself, just the feel of the keys and the co...

Re: Are bi-focals any good for music reading?

Hi Michael

Before you lay out any money at the opticians, try this. Pop into your local pound shop and test a pair at a suitable distance. Then buy an extra pair, the next strength up. You'll see if this solves your problem for a couple of quid!

Re: Andy Williams, Moon River singer, dies aged 84

There can't be many people who learnt to play the keyboard without playing one of Andy's songs. Can't believe he was only 84. A sad loss.

Hi Wally

I've never had a problem with the 700 but the power supply on the PSR2000 was always extremely hot. I couldn't pick it up after use. I always laid it on a piece of wood and never left it unattended while live. This went on for four years before I sold it.

Hi Joan

If a professional repair is too expensive try to get hold of a second hand pair of computer speakers. They will plug into the headphone socket. My son got some for a fiver and they're great!
