Looking at one of the pics of the Genos it would appear that the holes on the back of the keyboard are the same, so something similar to the Tyros 5 is expected. We will just have to wait and see.
Yamaha also sell two Blue Tooth adaptors that allows you to connect any instrument with only the 5 pin MIDI Sockets. Lots of APP's are now only using the BT
We have all seen the recent series of posts by Brian (Bond) 007 showing us the great range of APPs that help us to get more from our keyboards. To continue the theme, I thought I would introduce a few more that allows us to use the existing Keyboards that we have in a more user friendly manner. Rath...
Hi Peter, The price I have seen somewhere is around £1,750 which is about the same as the Yamaha equivalent model the PRS970 Brian007 Hi Brian You mention that the equivalent Yamaha model is the S970. I would suggest not, the only similarity is the price. With the P1000 you get a good keybed with f...
Hi Fred I have copied an article from another Forum. Fred TWINSET. Tyros 2 + NP30 Midi Setup T2. Function \ Split points. Set Split Points R1 & R2 to C1.(last key left) R3 to C1#. Beware that previous made Registrations saved will alter this. NP30 Midi Out to T2 Midi In. Only one lead required. ...
I think it will be hard to sell the PAX4 with the introduction of the Yamaha 970 on grounds of price but time will tell. Brian Hi Brian I think the comparison between the S970 and the PA4X is not really applicable as they are totally different. The new PA4X is more akin to the Tyros 5. I agree thou...
Hi Ray Plenty o info at the Yamaha Sites Fred http://uk.yamaha.com/en/products/musical-instruments/keyboards/digitalpianos/clavinova_series/cvp-709/?mode=model http://download.yamaha.com/search/product/?site=uk.yamaha.com&language=en&category_id1=16277&category_id2=16086&category_id3...
One benefit is that you get a true time/date stamp when saving files. If you don't use an iPad with the T5 then you can disconnect the dongle although there is no harm in leaving it plugged in.
Hi Ken There is a considerable difference between the two. The registration does not contain any backing like the Styles does. Consider the style as a basic setup with backing and 4 voice changes. The yule also has the Beginning and ending plus fill in's. The registration is simply a small file to w...
You have not gave us much info, however if you are recording using the MIDI Record feature, you will not get the AUDIO to record as MIDI does not support Audio.
You should be able to record what you play AND the backing when recording to a WAV File.
I think it just shows how much actual respect there is for the members - Zilch To simply close the forum in this way because a few members expressed their support for the person who resigned is beyond belief. I think many members who have reserved their place at the next get together, will loose the...
Hi Guys It's nice to hear that at least one Club is doing well and everyone has a great time on the evenings. It is very rare these days for people to bother to attend. In some respects it is understandable given the number of Social Club that had Organs in the 60's & 70's. There is little inter...
It would seem to me to me to be a very smart move. The boundaries between Synth and Arranger are so blurred these days they might as well bring the two even closer. The R&D costs would reduce significantly and surely the Winner has to be the customer.
As far as I can see, the Expansion Manager helps to install and manage Yamaha stuff. However it does not mean that you cannot load other Packs. The original Pack Installation or Single Load appears to be still there, so I'm confused as to why there is such a concern.
The prices I have been given vary a tremendous amount from £1700 - £2400. Might just have to wait for the Lottery numbers coming up. There again with the cost of them doubling my chances are halved.
Yes your dealers were correct. Bonners have made a printing error for which they are sorry. The main thing though is that the prices are very reasonable. I just have to decide if the difference warrant a further spend of £2k.
Thanks Mike It is interesting to see that Bonners prices are different to others. TYROS 5 61-note no speakers £3739 £3739 TYROS 5 61-note with (the new) speakers £4011 £3910 TYROS 5 76-note no speakers £3910 £4011 TYROS 5 76-note with (the new) speakers £4182 £4182 The prices listed to the left are ...
Not sure exactly how the saying goes but something along the lines of "Nowt as strange as folk". It is something each person has to decide for them selves as we do with all things in life, however why they have to be so negative in a derogatory way I just don't understand. If they feel the...
I suppose after spending £4k they assume that there is little left to buy good speakers. I know one thing for sure I will never buy a pair of Tyros speakers again.
Hi Mike Someone already has. The Tyros5 is capable of playing back and recording audio files, and also possesses a range of audio manipulation features you can use to create “karaoke” style “minus one” tracks in the key and tempo of your choice. Welcome to Organ World The Tyros 5 features Vintage, H...
