The YEM version for Genos will be out in November.
Yamaha will start converting there voice packs over, and you will be able to download the ones you purchased for Tyros 5 when ready.

I deal with Allegro Music Chelmsford. I have done for a few years now. Always very helpful.

I got a better deal from my dealer I have been with for years and he does not charge me a hundred pound to deliver it.

The 970 won it for me. The sounds are much fuller and the styles were better. I would not want to swap my 970 as it is a great little keyboard.

There are some nice Demo's with Martin Harris on U Tube. Well worth a look. Yamaha have a winner here and they seem to be selling quite well.

Well the Teasers have done their job and got people talking about Genos. The last teaser will probably reveal all. I do suspect that a lot of the voices we have heard have been sampled from the orchestra and also the style. This is going to be one great keyboard and should suit all.

Yes speakers and woofer will be available as with other Tyros models. Looks as if this Genos is going to be a feast of new sound quality and lots of new styles and functions. Plus the touch screen so many have been asking for.

I have lots of these and they are very good.

There dose not seem to be any interest in the new keyboard coming along in a couple of months. Sounds like it is going to be another winner. Any thoughts what you would like to see on it.

When mentioned setting Keyboard split to C1 this is so that the bottom keyboard can use the whole of the lower keyboard for your chords when set correctly.

Hi Bill when set to single fingered you just play the note of the key. C and for a 7th you play C and B together and for a Minor you play C and Bb together. If it were F you would play 7th as F and E together and for Minor play F and Eb together. It is the same with all keys.

Hi Folks there are two new packs Theatre Universe and Klaus Wunderland for the S970 and they sound great.

All packs have now been converted and are there for you to choose your free one for the 770 and 970.

The latest version 2.31 is now out and is also for the 970 as well as Tyros 5.
